| What are the advantages of a template based site over a custom built site? |
Well they each have their own advantages, but the main advantage of a template based website is the incredibly low price. As you can see - you still get a great looking fully, functional website.

| Secondly is the TIME factor: a template based website can be up and running in a matter of a week once you have supplied all the data and graphics. A custom built site can and usually does take months to complete. SO if you need your site quickly....aA template based site is a good option. |

| Some People turn their noses up at Template based websites - why? |
Well, this is the age old problem of snobbery!! Just like some people can afford a Bently and might look down their noses at the proud owner of a new Ford Focus, similarly some companies have a huge marketing budget which they can spend on having a custom site built and may sneer at those who can't. Why? Just because they can. Theres no real reason for it. A "Ford Focus" will do an excellent job for most people and in fact if youre comparing a new Ford Focus to an old Bently, you woudl probably get far less problems with the Focus and definitely for ALOT less money! Its all abour prioriites like everything else at the end of the day. If you want a website and do not want to shell out hunderds of pounds for the priuiledge then a (good!) template based site is a great way to take those first tentative steps to going on-line with your company.
There are plenty of very poorly designed custom built web sites out there which look far worse and in fact do a far worse job for your company image than a smart, functional template based website will do.
